Support Master Planner

The incumbent is Adani Airports Master Planner with hands-on expertise in airport planning activities, including the development and maintenance of the Airport Master Plan. This role will actively engage with planning, commercial management, airport operations, contracts and procurement, internal and external stakeholders and other departments as required. Additionally, the Master Planner will have external coordination with local government agencies, such as urban planning, economic development and Civil Aviation Authority.

Functional Competencies

• A minimum 6 years of experience in airport infrastructure planning, design, and development in similar roles.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• International experience is preferred, knowledge of common project delivery methods, knowledge of industry best practices preferable
• Strong background in Master Planning and other planning studies for small/medium/large airports
• The candidate shall have good knowledge and understanding of ICAO/IATA regulations, as well as other international standards for ensuring compliance with national laws and regulations
• Capable of adapting to demanding project conditions
• Ability to adapt to new situations and to react objectively and expeditiously to critical works
• Experience in handling the regulator & stakeholders is preferred
• Adaptation to Adani's growing Airport's business portfolio & its dynamics
• Conversant with applicable local and international statutory norms, regulations, etc.

• Flight schedule and airline operations analysis
• Capacity-demand analysis
• Airfield capacity and geometric layout planning
• Obstacle limitation surface planning
• Terminal capacity and functional layout planning
• Terminal and support facilities design
• Cargo facilities capacity, location and functional layout planning
• Landside facilities capacity, location and layout planning
• Airport support facilities capacity, location and layout planning
• Commercial facilities planning
• Overall Airport Master Planning
• Land use planning

Project Management

• Development of Scope of work and project schedule
• Tender evaluation
• Consultant deliverables review
• Schedule management and cost compliance
• Stakeholder and management review presentations
• Adherence to safety and quality requirements

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or similar certification
• Masters / Certification course in Airports Planning & Design is preferred and not a requirement
