SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

An Ideal Candidate:

An Ideal candidate should have a B.E with 8+years in SCM, purchase department, buyer, with both domestic and overseas suppliers and/or customers. SAP exposure is mus.

Key Competencies:

1. Identify, develop and manage key strategic supplier relationships. Work closely with areas such as Operations (Engineering and Project Management), Administration & Finance to support strategic sourcing activities (both internal and external)
2. Optimize purchasing local strategy in alignment with Global Supply Chain guidelines and strategies, improving supplier performance at lower than budgeted costs maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
3. Oversee purchasing information in the ERP system; ensure complete and accurate record keeping/documentation of all goods and services ordered and received.
4. Monitor, analyze and report key supply chain performance metrics (both internal and external indicators) including sourcing savings, supplier delivery, inventory turns, quality, vendor score card metrics, forecasts, etc. Translate analytics to implications, action, continuous improvement and strategy through influence and presentation.
5. Maintain, improve, and implement purchasing instructions, policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with Purchasing and Company rules and policies.
6. Work with Engineering for the clarification of complex specifications with suppliers and considerations for substitute strategic materials / products.
7. Identify barriers to strategic supplier successful performance and provide potential solutions for removal.
8. Resolve complex and/or critical problems relating to supplier quality and service, contract and pricing disputes, deliveries and other discrepancies.
