Strategy & Operations Associate Consultant

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive professional to manage and execute key projects and processes within an assigned space, helping to drive operational excellence, strategic alignment, and overall space credibility. This role requires strong project management capabilities, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to work independently across teams.

What You'll Do

• Manage and execute substantial projects and processes to enhance space credibility.
• Optimize space operations by proactively suggesting and implementing improvements.
• Connect initiatives across the space and broader firm to create operational efficiencies and save team time.
• Support and drive space-level strategy and enable change initiatives.
• Lead impact measurement efforts and create effective communication plans.
• Collaborate on budget optimization and support business development activities.
• Interact independently with key stakeholders within the space and across the ZS team.
• Serve as a proxy for space leads in selected tasks, expanding scope and responsibility.
• Navigate internal networks effectively to accomplish key objectives.
• Deliver high-quality outputs that are polished and ready for broad internal audiences.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ to 5 years of experience in a professional services firm; consulting or strategy/operations experience preferred.
• A fundamental understanding of consulting business models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects, including those with intersecting workstreams.
• Experience working with and influencing multiple and senior stakeholders.
• High degree of empathy, adaptability, and personal impact.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
