Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight: Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring it runs smoothly, effectively, and efficiently to meet business objectives.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, supervising, and appraising staff to build a high-performing team.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, maintain accurate statistical and financial records, and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
- Sales & Target Achievement: Set and meet ambitious sales targets, actively motivating staff to achieve and exceed these goals.
- Customer Experience: Deal promptly and effectively with customer queries and complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Inventory & Pricing Control: Oversee pricing strategies and maintain rigorous stock control to optimize inventory levels and prevent losses.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, creating a safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Marketing & Promotions: Prepare engaging promotional materials and creative displays to attract customers and drive sales.
- Strategic Planning: Create effective business strategies to enhance store performance and market presence.
- Head Office Liaison: Maintain strong communication and liaison with the head office, providing necessary reports and aligning with company-wide initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Proven ability to oversee daily store operations.
