Sterling OMS Developer

Responsibilities:

• Sterling OMS Development: Design and develop e-commerce systems specifically for fulfillment processes utilizing the Sterling Order Management (OMS) Suite.
• Solution Implementation: Implement, customize, and integrate Sterling Order Management (OMS) solutions, ensuring seamless functionality within multi-channel retail environments.
• System Integration: Integrate Sterling Order Management (OMS) solutions with various downstream systems and third-party applications (e.g., Search Engines, Web Services, Tax Processors, Payment Processors, Fulfillment, Ad Engines).
• Business Partner Integration: Integrate e-commerce solutions with business partners using diverse communication protocols such as REST, WSDLs, Gateways, and APIs.
• End-to-End Development: Contribute to end-to-end development, covering the back-end database layer, the Sterling Order Management (OMS) application server/web server layer, and the UI layer.
• Architectural Contribution: Actively contribute to the overall design and architecture of web applications, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Scalability & Reliability: Ensure that implementations meet the required scalability and reliability crucial for high-volume e-commerce operations.
• Issue Analysis & Diagnosis: Analyze and diagnose any technical issues that could adversely impact functional capabilities of the OMS system.
• Strategic Thinking: Apply strategic thinking to assist development and architectural teams in devising strategies and tactics that facilitate fast turnaround times for projects.
• Model Work: Work effectively with various models within the Sterling Order Management (OMS) platform.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Sterling Order Management (OMS) Suite.
• Experience in the implementation of e-commerce solutions for multi-channel retailers.
• Experience in integrating Sterling Order Management (OMS) Solutions with downstream systems.
• Experience in integrating e-commerce Solutions with Business Partners using various communication protocols (REST, WSDLs, Gateways, APIs, etc.).
• Experience with end-to-end development, covering back-end database, application server/web server, and UI layers.
• Integration experience with Third-Party Applications (examples: Search Engines, Web Services, Tax Processors, Payment Processors, Fulfillment, Ad Engines).
• Ability to think strategically and assist development/architect teams with strategies and tactics for fast turnaround.
• Solid design and coding skills in Java and/or Spring framework.
• Excellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
