Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Strategy & Execution

  • Drive car loan business across the state to achieve monthly and annual disbursement targets.
  • Design and execute sales strategies based on market potential, competitor activity, and customer behavior.
  • Monitor and analyze performance across branches and regions under the state.

2. Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers, Branch Managers, and Sales Executives.
  • Build a high-performance sales culture through training, coaching, and setting clear KPIs.

3. Channel Management

  • Develop and expand relationships with automobile dealers, DSAs, and aggregators.
  • Ensure active channel engagement and resolve operational or commercial issues quickly.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Liaise with credit, operations, collections, and risk teams to ensure smooth loan processing and post-disbursement documentation.
  • Work with product and marketing teams for promotional campaigns and product feedback.

5. Compliance & Portfolio Health

  • Ensure full adherence to RBI norms, KYC guidelines, and internal policies.
  • Monitor portfolio quality, early delinquencies, and ensure timely corrective actions with collections support.

6. Reporting & Review

  • Generate and present detailed business reports, sales dashboards, and market insights to senior management.
  • Conduct regular review meetings with the team and channels.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth understanding of the car loan/auto finance industry, including both new and used car segments.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent data-driven decision-making ability and analytical mindset.
  • Strong dealer/DSA relationship network within the state.
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM systems, and loan origination platforms.
