Staff Nurse - Fresher & OT/ICU/WARD/Casualty/Emergency

Key Responsibilities

• Arrive 5–10 minutes before duty and take over from the previous shift nurse.
• Plan and prioritize nursing interventions to meet patient needs.
• Check crash cart, inventory, and ward supplies; ensure rooms/beds are ready for incoming patients.
• Receive and direct patients to their allotted beds.
• Ensure all patients are examined by doctors promptly.
• Ensure consent forms are signed by patients/guardians where required.
• Assist doctors during rounds and procedures.
• Monitor patients intensively when required and administer high-risk medications safely.
• Maintain accurate records for high-risk drugs and other patient-related documentation.
• Ensure adequate linen and ward stock availability.
• Complete discharge cards accurately and discharge patients per doctor instructions.
• Collaborate with team members for effective patient care and safety.
