Sr System Consultant
Job Description
We're looking for a seasoned and experienced professional to join our team, someone with a complete understanding and wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in their field. You'll apply your comprehensive knowledge to resolve a wide range of complex issues creatively, leveraging a full understanding of your area of specialization. You'll also possess general knowledge of other related disciplines, business unit functions, and cross-group dependencies/relationships. This is a fully-qualified, career-oriented position where you'll develop solutions to a variety of significantly complex problems, requiring in-depth data analysis and evaluation of identifiable factors.
You'll exercise authority and judgment within generally defined practices and policies, independently selecting methods and techniques to achieve solutions. With broad knowledge of various alternatives and their impact on the business unit, you'll plan and organize non-routine tasks (with approval) and initiate or maintain work schedules and priorities. You'll operate under general direction regarding project progress, independently determining and developing approaches to solutions. Your role will involve interpreting, executing, and recommending modifications to company policies, as well as assisting in establishing departmental policies and procedures. Your work will be reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives, and you'll contribute significantly to specific programs and projects. Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions could lead to serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate under minimal supervision as an individual contributor.
- Assist team leadership with work assignments, as assigned.
- Train junior consultants in various areas of workforce management.
- Facilitate workshops to identify requirements, documenting them and developing prototypes for customer confirmation.
- Configure and implement complex workforce management solutions.
- Develop high-level skills with Kronos workforce management modules.
- Deliver presentations and communicate effectively at all levels within the customer and Kronos organization.
- Work closely with Project Managers to complete delegated tasks supporting project implementations, operating independently as necessary.
- Manage customer relationships and change request projects as assigned.
- Assist with Managed Services customer presentations, as needed.
- Expand knowledge of the Kronos product line through self-study, attending classes, and/or participating in virtual training.
- Escalate product issues when all avenues of resolution are exhausted.
- Travel up to 25% based on project needs.
Skills
- Proficient utilization of PC Microsoft Office.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to assess customer business challenges, policies, and procedures to translate them into applicable solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of Kronos Workforce Central and/or Workforce Dimensions modules related to scheduling, absence management, custom reporting, integrations/APIs, and HR/payroll processing.
- Proven experience working with integration or implementations of Cloud-based systems.
- Experience with SQL 2005, 2008, 2012.
- Experience with Windows Operating System 2008, 2012 Server.
- Experience with SSL, LDAP, Single Sign-On
