Sr. Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer cum Senior Support Engineer with strong expertise in Java, microservices, and production support. The role requires hands-on technical development along with L2/L3 support responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations, timely issue resolution, and high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development, production support, and maintenance activities for enterprise applications.
• Guide team members on technical tasks and review technical documents and artifacts.
• Ensure successful initiation, planning, execution, and closure of assigned projects.
• Prepare functional and technical specification documents.
• Track, allocate, and monitor open tickets/incidents to ensure closure within defined SLAs/KPIs/OLAs.
• Provide application production support as per RACI matrices.
• Act as the primary customer interface, resolving issues proactively before escalation.
• Ensure adherence to software quality processes and project timelines.
• Lead deployment activities and support clustered application architectures.
• Promote teamwork, mentor junior team members, and support their professional development.
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes (faster, better, cost-effective outcomes).
• Complete timesheets, invoicing, and reporting tasks within deadlines.
