Sr Software Engineer

• Develop and Maintain High quality web applications using Ruby on Rails framework.
• Collaborate with cross functional Teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to code standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by Users or QA Team ensuring optimal application performance.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Ruby on Rails development, contributing to architectural decisions and technical discussions.

Requirements

• BE or Any master s in information technology or computer science
• Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of the Ruby programming language and the Rails framework.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite.
• Strong proficiency in Design patterns for scalable and maintainable code
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good to Have:

• Experience with AWS services, especially EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL database management system.
• Knowledge of Python programming language.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Contributions to open-source projects or participation in the Ruby on Rails community.
