Sr. SAP Basis Consultant

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP SLT Consultant to lead and manage data integration and replication efforts across SAP and non-SAP systems. This role will be instrumental in supporting Central Finance implementation, performing non-SAP to SAP data migrations, and collaborating with Basis and third-party integration tools like Datahub and Magnitude.

Primary Responsibilities:

SLT Implementation & Management:

• Lead the setup and management of SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) for data replication between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Ensure smooth execution of real-time and batch ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

Non-SAP to SAP Migration:

• Oversee the migration of data from non-SAP systems to SAP using SLT, ensuring data quality, integrity, and minimal business disruption.

Central Finance Support:

• Support Central Finance implementations leveraging SLT for seamless financial system integration.
• Configure and monitor SLT data replication tailored to Central Finance requirements.

Basis and Datahub/Magnitude Integration:

• Work closely with the SAP Basis team to maintain optimal SLT landscape configuration and performance.
• Collaborate with Datahub and Magnitude teams for effective integration between SAP and non-SAP environments.

Performance & Troubleshooting:

• Monitor SLT replication jobs and ETL performance, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot replication and transformation errors, ensuring high availability and consistency.

Documentation & Best Practices:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for SLT configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Adhere to SAP's best practices for secure and scalable data integration.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP SLT for real-time data replication and migration.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis for system setup and maintenance.
• Experience in implementing or supporting SAP Central Finance using SLT.
• Familiarity with SAP Datahub or Magnitude tools for external system integration.
• Solid understanding of ETL and data transformation processes.
• Ability to optimize SLT performance and handle troubleshooting independently.
• Good documentation habits and familiarity with SAP integration best practices.
