Sr. QA Automation Tester

We are seeking a Sr. QA Automation Tester to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality and automation, with the ability to ensure our products meet the highest standards. You will play a key role in designing and implementing automated tests to improve our testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand functional requirements and identify test cases for automation.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
• Identify, record, and track defects using bug tracking tools, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Continuously improve the testing process and automation framework to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers in automation best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
