Job Description

  • Research and identify potential vendors and suppliers based on organizational requirements
  • Compare and evaluate supplier quotations, product quality, and service offerings
  • Finalize contract terms and pricing agreements in line with company policies
  • Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and products
  • Review and verify the quality of purchased items to meet required standards
  • Enter and maintain purchase order details such as vendor information, quantities, and prices in internal systems
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of purchased products, delivery schedules, and invoices
  • Prepare periodic purchase reports, including cost analysis and spend summaries
  • Monitor inventory and stock levels and place purchase orders as required
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of materials
  • Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay updated on industry trends and new suppliers
