Job Description
- Research and identify potential vendors and suppliers based on organizational requirements
- Compare and evaluate supplier quotations, product quality, and service offerings
- Finalize contract terms and pricing agreements in line with company policies
- Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and products
- Review and verify the quality of purchased items to meet required standards
- Enter and maintain purchase order details such as vendor information, quantities, and prices in internal systems
- Maintain accurate and updated records of purchased products, delivery schedules, and invoices
- Prepare periodic purchase reports, including cost analysis and spend summaries
- Monitor inventory and stock levels and place purchase orders as required
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and handling of materials
- Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay updated on industry trends and new suppliers
