Summary

We are seeking a System Architect (SA) to design and develop complete system architectures for customer requirements, primarily in the Defence industry. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience and a deep understanding of hardware, software, FPGA logic, mechanical design, integration, and qualification testing. This role involves translating customer needs into reliable, cost-effective system solutions while guiding project teams throughout design and implementation phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and clarify customer requirements and technical needs.
• Gather and analyze data to create robust and optimized system architecture and design.
• Prepare technical proposals and support the business development team in commercial proposal creation.
• Participate in client meetings with sales and BD teams to provide technical insights.
• Support project teams in creating detailed designs based on selected architecture.
• Review design outputs and provide guidance for improvement.
• Offer technical support during debugging and problem-solving phases.
• Develop and maintain technical guidelines and standards at the organizational level.

Must-Have Skills

• Proven experience in Systems Architecture across industry verticals.
• Strong understanding of VME, VPX, CPCI, AMC, XMC system standards.
• Expertise in electronic and embedded systems architecture.
• Solid background in electronics and circuit board design.
• Knowledge of FPGA/RTL design and process flow.
• Basic understanding of embedded software architecture.
• Experience in qualification testing and product delivery for complex systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in system architecture for defence systems.
• Hands-on expertise in digital, analog, or RF circuit design.
• Experience with multilayer PCB design and FPGA RTL development.
• Knowledge of MIL standards for Environmental/EMI-EMC qualification testing.
• Prior experience in defence services industry.

Qualifications

• 12–18 years of experience in system architecture or related fields.
• B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Science.
