Job Description

PRINCIPAL TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Achievement of Budgeted Targets

  • Meet sales, growth, brand-wise, and profit targets as per budget.
  • Achieve product mix, market share, and timely sales forecasts.
  • Improve low-performing territories through strategic fieldwork.
  • Maintain business hygiene: minimize expiries, returns, cheque bounces; ensure timely stock liquidation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs.

Team Building / Leadership

  • Train, coach, and mentor field teams; manage induction and performance.
  • Align sales and marketing for cohesive team productivity.
  • Ensure 100% field staff deployment and support internal promotions.

Effective Implementation

  • Achieve KPIs: doctor calls, MCR, KOL coverage, YPM, etc.
  • Ensure execution of marketing and sales strategies.
  • Monitor competition and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Provide field insights and feedback to leadership and marketing teams.

Customer / KOL Management

  • Implement KOL engagement strategies.
  • Maximize ROI through regular team and personal KOL visits.

Product Management / Development

  • Grow 2nd line brands and drive high market share.
  • Lead successful new product launches.
  • Uphold company image and professionalism in the market.
