Job Description Senior Functional Consultant – Demand Planning

What you'll do for us:

Demonstrate extensive knowledge of industry best practices, business processes, o9 solutions, technical architecture, and value proposition, focusing on Demand Planning.
Ensure solution usability and uptime by resolving customer issues promptly, maintaining accuracy in data loads, and validating end-to-end workflows for demand forecasting.
Identify design issues in the existing setup and collaborate with other o9 consultants to address demand planning-specific business problems. Serve as the primary point of contact for any platform-level upgrades, patches, or hot fixes related to demand planning modules.
Configure the o9 platform based on post-go-live change requests and enhancements, focusing on demand forecasting to address deep operations and supply chain issues.
Develop and execute workflow and data analytics test cases for demand planning. Manage bug tracking and resolution processes using support tools.
Lead Super User and End User training sessions focused on global demand planning operations.
Actively contribute to the improvement of internal processes and demand planning features based on customer feedback by working closely with the development and operations teams.

What you'll have:

Experience:

Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in implementing supply chain planning applications, with a significant emphasis on Demand planning.
Proven expertise in leading multiple full lifecycle implementations across various planning platforms, with a focus on complex projects and strategic initiatives.

Skills:

A deep and comprehensive understanding of advanced supply chain planning concepts, including Demand Management, Supply Planning, Demand Forecasting, SOP, and Inventory Optimization.
Expertise in configuring and optimizing supply chain solutions to enhance business processes and operational efficiency.

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in SQL, MDX, T-SQL, or similar database and query languages.
Strong statistical, optimization, and simulation skills using tools like R, SAS, CPLEX, or similar.
Familiarity with leading ERP and SCM applications, demonstrating an ability to understand and manipulate complex data models.

Exceptional leadership skills, capable of mentoring junior consultants and leading project teams.
Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex solutions clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.
