Sr. Core PHP Developer

As a Sr. Core PHP Developer, you will be a key player in developing robust, web-based applications using PHP and MySQL. This role is for a highly skilled individual who can work independently, solve unique problems, and take ownership of the entire development process. You will be responsible for creating applications that adhere to industry standards and contribute to our innovative e-learning platform, with knowledge of Learning Management Systems and SCORM being a significant advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Understand, interpret, and articulate business requirements to develop effective technical solutions.
• Develop a Solution Blueprint and design Functional Specifications based on business requirements.
• Develop programs and frameworks based on industry standards.
• Collaborate with the testing team to develop a Quality Assurance Strategy document.
• Oversee the full development lifecycle, from planning and design to coding and deployment.

Skills and Expertise

• Sound knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts.
• Experience with frameworks like WordPress, Zend, Yii, Laravel, or Moodle.
• Good exposure to API integration and development.
• Must have experience with Web services.
• Expertise in MySQL, including planning database architecture and implementing responsive design.
• Proficient understanding of coding standards, best programming practices, and performance optimization.
• Working experience with JIRA/Azure and repos.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or Computer Sciences.
