Sr. Automation Engineer - Web & API

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to lead UI and API automation initiatives. The candidate will design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using JavaScript technologies, ensure sprint-level automation coverage, and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and maintain a reusable automation framework for Web and Mobile (iOS & Android).

• Automate critical P1/P2 flows within sprint timelines.

• Manage the automation backlog (N+1 planning).

• Ensure platform parity between iOS and Android.

• Design and manage API automation suites (REST & SOAP).

• Provide technical mentorship and ensure high-quality automation standards.

Required Experience:

• 4–7 years of experience in UI & API automation.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript.

• Hands-on experience with Webdriver IO.

• Strong experience with Appium for mobile automation.

• Experience in REST and SOAP API testing.

• Strong understanding of OOP concepts.

• Experience in designing or enhancing automation frameworks.

• Knowledge of mobile locator strategies (Accessibility ID, iOS Predicates, Android UI Automator).

• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
