Sr Advanced User Exp Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the delivery of innovative, scalable, elegant, usable, and well-thought-out user experiences for next-generation Honeywell Industrial Automation products/offerings.
• Guide the design process from discovery through implementation, ensuring a user-centered approach throughout.
• Apply proven methods to uncover user needs, identify gaps and opportunities, and articulate findings to business stakeholders to shape product roadmaps and requirements.
• Collaborate with product leaders and technical leads to define and prioritize business and customer needs.
• Partner with UX researchers to gather user insights and advocate for user needs in design decisions.
• Work closely with developers to ensure usability and design consistency during implementation.
• Map user journeys using flow diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes to enhance product usability.
• Design, implement, and validate user interfaces for scalable applications across desktop and mobile platforms.
• Document functional requirements to communicate design rationale and support development.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and measure UX metrics.
• Champion innovation and contribute to new product ideas.
• Institutionalize user-centered design best practices and emerging trends within the design team and the broader organization.

Skills and Experience:

• 8 to 12 years of experience as a UX practitioner working on complex, data-intensive enterprise software applications.
• Working knowledge of human-centered design principles, techniques, and processes.
• Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Miro, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Working knowledge of user research and usability evaluation methods.
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design process and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience in usability testing and user research.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas.
• Proven experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Domain knowledge in industrial automation (preferred).
• Strategic mindset with the ability to identify innovation opportunities across product ecosystems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable and intuitive UX solutions.
• Degree in HCI, UX Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Passion for crafting high-quality, intuitive user interfaces that deliver exceptional experiences.
