Job Description
'• Experience in working on various MS SQL Database versions 2016,2017, 2019, 2022
• Experience in applying SQL Server service packs and database upgrades on same server and new server.
• Experience in Database performance tuning and troubleshooting users and application related issues
• Exposure on database monitoring tools like SCOM, Rubrik, Redgate and others
• Experience in continuous process improvement and automation using YAML and PowerShell
• Experience in HA solutions like Always ON setup and maintenance, Log shipping, Database mirroring and replication
• Experience in SQL Server cluster
• Experience in Upgrade, Patching and migration to On Prem and Cloud
• Experience in Azure Arc Managed Instance SQL Server
• Experience on cloud like Azure will be preferred
• Experience in Database security and encryption setup using TDE and masking
• Manage database backup and recovery, as well as disaster recovery planning
• Create, change, and improve SQL Server Agent tasks and maintenance plans.
• Proactively monitor SQL Server maintenance tasks, troubleshoot failed processes, and address issues as soon as possible. '
