SQE - Nacelle & Hub Electromechanical Inspector

Responsibilities:

• Handle and monitor supplier-related non-conformities (NC) including containment actions, repairs, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective/preventive actions using the 8D approach and other problem-solving tools

• Collaborate with India DQE and China HQ DQE teams for component-specific issue resolution for both India- and China-sourced items

• Troubleshoot and perform containment actions for Nacelle & Hub (N&H) components including Electrical, Mechanical, Gearbox Bearing, Composite & Steel Fabrication, Casting, Fasteners, Generators, Control Panels, Cables, etc., especially during incoming and assembly stages

• Conduct failure analysis using RCA/QC tools to improve component quality and ensure smooth N&H production

• Ensure supplier activities on the shop floor comply with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards during joint repair or salvage work

• Collaborate with planning, logistics, and quality departments to resolve workflow issues and optimize resources

• Coordinate daily shop floor activities related to N&H assembly to meet production targets

• Guide supplier technicians on standard assembly practices, electrical safety, and updated procedures

• Show adaptability and eagerness to learn and tackle new challenges

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering

• 5–7 years of experience in wind turbine manufacturing, assembly, or electrical integration

• Preferred experience in Nacelle and Hub production, process, and supplier quality

• Experience in coordinating shop floor activities and cross-functional collaboration

• Familiarity with quality tools like PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, 8D, NC, and NC Claim
