Specification Consultant

We are seeking a proactive Specification Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for driving growth and profitability by providing technical expertise, managing project specifications, and building long-term relationships with engineers, architects, and key decision-makers. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical skills to ensure our products are integrated into major projects, ultimately helping to shape the future of construction.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Specification & Technical Consulting: Ensure our products are included in project specifications by engaging with structural consultants, architects, and decision-makers. Provide technical expertise, design recommendations, and best practices for fastening, anchoring, and other key technologies.
• Project & Site Engagement: Track and manage specifications using a CRM system. Visit project sites to provide on-ground technical support and identify new business opportunities, positioning us as the preferred solution provider.
• Business Development & Relationship Management: Build long-term partnerships with specifiers, understanding their needs and influencing project specifications. Conduct technical seminars and provide training to clients to keep them updated on the latest innovations.
• Continuous Learning & Technical Excellence: Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and standards to provide accurate and error-free technical solutions. Share knowledge with colleagues and the sales team to strengthen overall expertise.

Skills Required

• Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or Architecture.
• Strong understanding of key civil, structural, design, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) construction concepts.
• Experience interacting with structural consultants, MEP consultants, and architects.
• A proven ability to solve problems, a drive for results, and strong teamwork skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to provide structured and precise information.
• Prior experience or a solid understanding of technical specification concepts and business development.
