Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care & Treatment

• Diagnose and treat illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries.
• Prescribe and administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care.
• Monitor patients' conditions and progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.

Diagnostic & Medical Procedures

• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients and their families.

Medical Coordination

• Direct, coordinate, consult with, and refer patients to nurses, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
• Collect, record, and maintain patients' information and medical histories.

Patient Education & Counseling

• Advise patients, parents, and guardians on diets, activities, hygiene, and disease prevention.

Research & Professional Development

• Conduct research and stay current with trends, discoveries, and developments in the medical field.
