Sourcing Head - Diamond Sourcing

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive global sourcing strategy for diamonds, aligning with business objectives and ensuring a sustainable and competitive supply chain.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and strengthen strategic relationships with key diamond suppliers worldwide, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring consistent quality and supply.
• Market Trend Monitoring: Continuously monitor global diamond market trends, including pricing fluctuations, availability, demand shifts, and geopolitical factors that may impact sourcing.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, manage, and develop the diamond sourcing team, setting clear objectives, providing mentorship, and ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds its sourcing goals.
• Quality & Compliance: Oversee the quality assurance process for all sourced diamonds, ensuring compliance with industry standards, ethical sourcing guidelines, and company specifications.
• Inventory Optimization: Collaborate with inventory management and production teams to optimize diamond stock levels, balancing availability with cost efficiency.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the diamond supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply.
• Performance Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for sourcing activities and provide regular reports to senior management on sourcing performance, market insights, and strategic initiatives.
