Job Description
- Identify and develop reliable suppliers for raw materials, components, and services
- Request and evaluate quotations, and negotiate prices, delivery terms, and payment conditions
- Perform supplier audits and assessments to ensure quality, capacity, and compliance
- Coordinate with internal departments like design, quality, and production for material specifications
- Monitor supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness
- Maintain and update supplier database, pricing records, and procurement documentation
- Support cost reduction initiatives through alternative sourcing and value engineering
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply chain disruptions
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Prepare sourcing reports and present sourcing strategies to internal stakeholders
