Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect specializing in Siemens Rulestream, with deep expertise in Engineer-to-Order (ETO) product configuration and solution architecture. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable, rule-driven automation frameworks using Rulestream, with integration into CAD and PLM systems. You'll be crucial in transforming complex engineering and business requirements into robust, automated solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Rulestream-based configuration models for ETO product lines.
• Architect and implement rule-driven solutions that align with engineering and business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product Management, and IT, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Integrate Rulestream with CAD platforms (e.g., NX, Inventor, SolidWorks) and PLM systems.
• Develop custom scripts and extensions using VB.NET, C#, or equivalent languages to enhance configurator functionality.
• Lead solution architecture discussions and mentor junior developers in best practices for Rulestream development.
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing configuration rulesets for performance, accuracy, and maintainability.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, compliance, and digital governance protocols.
• Support deployment, version control, and lifecycle management of Rulestream applications.

Skills

• Deep expertise in Siemens Rulestream development and configuration.
• Demonstrated expertise in ETO (Engineer-to-Order) configuration and business process automation.
• Proficiency in VB.NET, C#, or similar programming languages.
• Strong understanding of CAD automation and integration with engineering rulesets.
• Experience in large-scale Rulestream implementation or upgrades.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to lead solution architecture discussions and provide mentorship.
• Strong understanding of complex configuration environments.
• Background in enterprise engineering systems.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering preferred).
