Solar Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Drafting: Research, design, and draft blueprints, engineering plans, and technical graphics for solar projects.
• Modeling & Simulation: Use software tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, SketchUp, and Helioscope to develop and analyze solar system designs.
• Prototyping & Testing: Develop test prototypes to validate new solar designs and technologies.
• System Optimization: Identify and implement solutions to improve system performance, energy efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of designs, drawings, and technical data.
• Risk Assessment: Evaluate engineering prototypes and models to identify issues, risks, or design inefficiencies.
• Budgeting: Estimate cost limits and prepare project budgets for solar system designs.
• Manufacturing Coordination: Supervise and support the manufacturing and installation process to ensure design accuracy and quality.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, project management, and creative departments to ensure seamless project execution.
