Software Tester-Power Apps

1. Primary Skill Set:

• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Must possess sound knowledge in testing methodologies and processes
• Must have hands-on experience in test case design, test execution, defect logging, and reporting
• Execute functional tests to ensure that software applications meet specified requirements
• Identify and document defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that software changes do not negatively impact existing functionality
• Perform integration testing to verify the interoperability of various components within the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate)
• Conduct performance testing to evaluate system responsiveness, scalability, and stability
• Knowledge in SharePoint Online and Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate)

2. Secondary Skill Set:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts or other relevant automation frameworks
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software testing
• Propose and implement process improvements to enhance the overall testing process

3. Good To Have:

• Relevant certifications in software testing or Microsoft Power Platform

4. Other Skills:

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills
• Proficient working in Agile (Scrum) project methodologies and tools like JIRA
• Experience working across disciplines, groups, and teams
