Job Description
- Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated test cases based on software requirements.
- Execute and analyse automated test results, logging defects as necessary.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to refine testing strategies.
- Maintain and update existing test scripts for improved accuracy and coverage.
- Assist in integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Participate in test case reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct basic performance and load testing activities.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of automation issues.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of test plans and test cases.
- Provide input on improving test automation frameworks and tools.
- Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related field
- Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in design, development, and implementation of quality assurance standards for software testing
- Intermediate Programming: Proficient in programming languages like Java or Python.
- Test Automation Frameworks: Knowledgeable in frameworks such as Tosca/Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
- CI/CD Integration: Understanding of integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
- Performance Testing: Basic skills in conducting performance tests.
- Defect Management: Effective use of bug tracking and management tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze and interpret test results.
- Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work well in team settings
