Software Implementer with PL/SQL & Linux

Pradeepit Consulting Services is actively seeking a skilled Software Implementer with expertise in PL/SQL and Linux to join our client's team. This role is ideal for a self-starter who excels in fast-paced environments, capable of working independently while contributing to a team. You will be responsible for implementing software solutions, focusing on database and operating system proficiency, and driving successful deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Implementation & Development: Develop and deliver application software changes according to requirements. Plan and perform software releases as part of the Release and Change process.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues. Investigate production incidents/problems and provide solutions for fixing issues.
• Database Management: Utilize strong hands-on project experience with SQL and PL/SQL for databases like Oracle and MSSQL.
• Operating System Proficiency: Work effectively within Unix/Linux environments.
• Documentation: Maintain and update system technical documents and service operation manuals.
• Collaboration & Learning: Work as a pro-active, team-oriented individual. Be willing and able to quickly learn new technologies and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in development or scripting.
• Knowledge of OOL (Object-Oriented Languages) with hands-on experience.
• Strong hands-on project experience with SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle, MSSQL).
• Mandatory Unix/Linux experience.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), container technology, and best practices.
• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
• Pro-active and team-oriented approach.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Nice to have: Web technologies (JavaScript, CSS), Versioning systems (Git, SVN), XSLT, XML Configurations, Tomcat, Websphere, Continuous Integration (Maven, Jenkins).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven hands-on experience in software implementation with a strong background in PL/SQL and Linux.
