Software Engineer - Security

Responsibilities:

• Design, estimate, build, ship, and own enterprise-grade security features in Datastax Astra suite of products.
• Develop expertise in authentication, encryption, and access control functions and provide consultation across the organization.
• Collaborate extensively with internal teams including Product Management and Product Engineering to deliver high-quality features on predictable timelines.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design, release coordination, and documentation review.
• Provide on-call support for components owned by the Platform Security team on a rotational basis.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field

Preferred Education:

• Master's Degree
