Software Engineer II - Sites & Services

Project Participation

• Participate in the entire software development life cycle, from ideation to deployment
• Perform requirement analysis during project initiation and planning phase
• Engage in task-level estimation of stories
• Contribute to the creation of the project plan
• Perform technical design reviews
• Conduct code reviews and ensure code meets company standards
• Optimize application performance
• Collaborate with other teams to identify and solve problems
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards
• Provide application support on a rotational basis

Learning & Development

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Contribute to process improvements at project or team level
• Continue building communication and soft skills
• Lead or participate in initiatives like knowledge sharing sessions or reading groups
• Participate in hiring and onboarding new team members

Consulting

• Estimate effort for modules or projects
• Provide technical solutions and act as a technical SME
• Demonstrate functional expertise in at least one area

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to build or contribute to a work plan
• Experience in implementing small projects or contributing to medium/large projects
• Proficient in 1–2 technologies/systems and focused on skill development
• Knowledge and application of IT technical standards
• Good working knowledge of IT applications and technical tools
• Viewed as a go-to resource within team or business group
• Demonstrates initiative and ownership in resolving issues and multitasking
• Competent in third-party integrations with SAS solutions/systems
