Software Engineer 3

Summary:

We are looking for a passionate, hands-on programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter and a good team player. This role involves working with the larger PLC Team to clearly understand customer system design and requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the PLC Team to understand customer system design and requirements.
• Validate code on SIL or HIL platforms.
• Set up Hardware in the Loop with PLCs.
• Provide over-the-call support to global teams.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5-7 years

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or CodeBlocks.
• Experience with Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Schneider, or similar PLC hardware and software.
• Good understanding of Industrial Datalink protocols like Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, or Ethernet IP.
• Strong communication skills for global collaboration.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with commissioning Industrial Automation systems (e.g., Siemens, ABB).
• Experience with software version control tools like GIT.
