What You'll Bring

3–5 years of experience developing web, software, or mobile applications
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
Proficiency in Java / Java EE and Spring/Spring Boot frameworks
Hands-on experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices is a plus
Familiarity with Server-Side technologies and handling mission-critical services
Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and writing unit/integration tests
Strong understanding of software architecture/design patterns
Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical topics clearly
A passion for mentoring junior engineers and promoting engineering best practices

How You Will Lead

Take ownership of critical platform services and lead the design and development of high-availability systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to deliver solutions that drive business outcomes
Work closely with design and product teams to build world-class user experiences
Drive end-to-end software development including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations
Lead efforts around DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Champion engineering excellence and coach junior engineers
Contribute up to 80% hands-on coding while also participating in architectural and technical decision-making
Act as a technical thought leader, providing guidance on design, scalability, and best practices
Advocate for and contribute to a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement
Work in an agile environment using Scrum or Extreme Programming (XP) methodologies
