Software Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our critical product configuration applications, contributing to the full lifecycle of our software products. The ideal candidate has a strong background in C# and .NET, with experience in both web and desktop application development.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain applications and solutions using Siemens Rulestream for Engineer-to-Order (ETO) processes.
• Design and build robust, scalable back-end services and Web APIs using C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and analysis to design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers for relational databases.
• Utilize Entity Framework (EF) for efficient data access and object-relational mapping.
• Provide support and enhancements for existing Windows desktop applications (WPF/WinForms).
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions on schedule.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in both development and production environments.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in programming with C# and extensive experience with the .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful Web APIs.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
• Practical experience with Entity Framework (EF).
• Experience in front-end development using JavaScript.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining Windows desktop applications (WPF or WinForms).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Siemens Rulestream and knowledge of CAD software are an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
