Software Engineer

This position will be responsible for managing and addressing the core platform needs of the debt collection business of the company.

Job Role

• To perform coding and testing of software programs and applications
• To assist in the preparation and documentation of program requirements and specifications
• Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes by amending workflow, develop detailed programming logic, and coding changes
• Formulate plan outlining steps required to develop program, using methodologies such as structured analysis and design or object-oriented development
• Test and develop programming modifications
• Replace, delete, or modify codes to correct errors
• Analyze, review, and alter program to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements
• Write new program code using prescribed specifications
• Write and maintain programming documentation and JIRA task tracker
• Provide daily status update on the assigned jobs to the Supervisor / Manager
• Perform work related duties as assigned

Desired Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a programmer in a reputed organization
• Hands on experience in developing or maintaining an ERP or CRM
• Graduation / Masters (preferably Computer Science) with object oriented programming knowledge
• C++ or C# or Java
• VB scripting
• SQL database (RDBMS structure and query)
