Who You Are:
We're looking for someone with deep experience in building distributed systems, who can also communicate effectively across teams and mentor peers. You'll have the opportunity to drive system architecture, align cross-functional goals, and improve the productivity of internal product teams.
Minimum Requirements:
4+ years of professional software development experience in distributed systems and service-oriented architecture.
Proven technical leadership on impactful projects.
Experience architecting and designing large-scale systems that significantly impacted business outcomes.
Skilled in working across infrastructure and product teams, aligning goals, making decisions, and communicating clearly.
Passion for enhancing developer experience and improving productivity.
Eagerness to learn and openness to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with microservices, particularly using Java and/or Ruby.
Comfortable collaborating across globally distributed teams.
Experience planning and executing large-scale system migrations.
History of mentoring engineers and contributing to their development.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, tailored for different audiences (e.g., leadership, stakeholders, users).
