Software Development Lead

We are seeking a skilled Senior Developer and Team Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in SQL, JAVA, React, python and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the systems. Candidate will mentor and manage the team. Candidate must be self-directed and comfortable taking ownership of the project and tasks assigned.

Responsibilities

• Understand business processes, underlying data architecture and architect/design/automate manual business processes.
• Microsoft SQL Server - Authoring high quality T-SQL programs.
• Team Management
• Provide technical support to business users of above systems.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with global business and technical teams.
• Willingness to learn and work on different technologies and tools.

. Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Overall 6-9 years of experience working on SQL, JAVA, React, Python and team management.
• Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficiency is designing database, writing complex, dynamic SQL queries, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with working on data pipeline using python.
• Willingness to work on data visualization libraries for reports development.
• Willingness to learn modern development practices, frameworks, and patterns.
• Working knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming.
• Familiarity with docker and Kubernetes.
• Self-directed and comfortable taking ownership of end to end execution of projects.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must have solid team management skills.
• Engage with global business teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in fast paced, rapidly changing and complex environment.
• Flexible and willing to work in 11/12 to 8/9 pm timings.

Good to have :

• Familiarity with Capital markets and Mutual funds industry/data.
• Familiarity with BI tools like SSRS and dashboard tools.
• Experience in Java script/.NET.
• Maintain a proactive focus on fostering business growth by recommending innovative solutions.
• Basic familiarity with development methods and processes such as Agile Scrum.
