Software Development Engineer in Test

Job description

Role Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for Testing and Automating of various features of Trellix's Security products like Email Security (EX), Malware Analysis (AX) etc.

About the role:

• Analysing the Requirements.
• Participating in preparing Test Plans.
• Preparing Test Data's and Test Environment to execute the test cases.
• Executing the Test Cases and Raising defect giving mandatory information of the defect to developers
• Build effective and maintainable automation scripts.
• Executing the automation regression release on release and raising defects if any.
• Good understanding of Test process.
• Status Reporting in timely manner and highlighting any risks/issues.
• Work effectively with senior engineers within the Business Unit.
• Build effective and maintainable automation scripts.

About you:

• Bachelors/Masters in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in QA and automation(preferably Python).
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in working on Unix/Linux environment.
• Familiarity with Virtualized environments.
• Passion for quality with customer focus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are a must.
• Hands-on experience working on AWS is a plus.
