Software Development Engineer II - Android, Subs & Pay

Key Responsibilities:

• Framework & Component Development: Develop and maintain foundational frameworks and shared components for Android applications.
• Code Quality: Write high-quality, efficient, and tested code for native mobile apps, actively participating in code reviews.
• Engineering Standards: Define and improve engineering standards and ensure codebase consistency.
• Scaling & Ownership: Take ownership of scaling mobile app development, refining processes, tools, and supporting contributors in architecture and code.
• Product Quality: Ensure end-to-end product quality, maintaining core app frameworks for reliability and user satisfaction.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers on cross-functional projects.
• Prototyping & Innovation: Create prototypes of new ideas and explore emerging mobile technologies.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize app performance, monitor metrics, and implement improvement strategies.
• Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to knowledge-sharing efforts, including technical blogs and best practices.
