Software Development Engineer II

Key Deliverables:

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services aligned with Tesco's retail platform strategy
• Participate in the entire SDLC, writing clean, testable, and efficient code
• Collaborate with product managers and QA teams to deliver robust software solutions
• Automate deployment processes and implement quality gates using CI/CD tools

Role Responsibilities:

• Translate feature requirements into working software with minimal guidance
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize performance in existing applications
• Support team collaboration and share knowledge to uplift coding standards
