Job Description
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using AWS services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Develop and maintain clean, efficient code in Python, Shell scripting, and Java for cloud-based applications.
- Implement automation solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Manage AWS environments, including setup, monitoring, and optimization.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
- Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and processing in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services and infrastructure.
- Stay current with new AWS services and features, and recommend improvements to existing architecture.
- Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs.
- Proficiency in both Mainframe and Modern Technologies.
- Mainframe Technologies:
- COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, IMS, REXX, CLIST, PL1, Assembler.
- Homegrown applications on Mainframes Architectural concepts, such as MATRIX, PBCF, CE, SY Utilities.
- Knowledge of third-party products on Mainframe: FOCUS, SAS, ACR Summary.
- Mainframe Schedulers: ESP, CA7.
- Modern Technologies:
- Cloud: AWS, Azure.
- Containers: Docker, Kubernetes.
- Programming Languages: Java, Postgres, Shell Scripting, Bash, Python.
- Schedulers: TWS, AWS Batch.
- Security: Configuring secured data exchange between on-prem and cloud environments (TLS 1.3).
- CI/CD Implementation.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
