1. Leadership and Strategy

Define and execute the vision and strategy for the Snowflake Center of Excellence (CoE) within the Data Practice.
Drive the adoption of Snowflake as a central platform for data warehousing, analytics, and real-time insights across enterprise and client projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize use cases, aligning them with Apexon's data modernization goals.

2. Solution Architecture:

Design scalable Snowflake solutions, including data pipelines, data marts, and analytics layers.
Implement multi-cluster architectures to ensure high availability, performance, and cost optimization.
Lead the integration of Snowflake with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data tools.

3. Operational Excellence:

Establish and enforce best practices for Snowflake usage, including data security, access control, and cost management.
Optimize Snowflake queries, storage, and compute to ensure performance and efficiency.
Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake environments, ensuring operational SLAs are met.

4. Governance and Compliance:

Define and implement data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, lineage, and compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Collaborate with data governance teams to enable enterprise-grade security and compliance in Snowflake implementations.

5. Team Leadership and Mentorship:

Build and manage a team of Snowflake experts, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.
Develop training programs to upskill team members and ensure alignment with the latest Snowflake advancements.

Technical Competencies:

Core Expertise: Proficiency in Snowflake features such as Time Travel, Secure Data Sharing, Snowpipe, and Materialized Views.
ETL/ELT: Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools like Matillion, Talend, or Informatica for data pipeline development.
Data Modeling: Deep knowledge of dimensional and schema-less data modeling in Snowflake.
Integration: Experience with integrating Snowflake with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Cloud Ecosystem: Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their interplay with Snowflake.

Qualifications:

Must Have:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in data engineering, with 3+ years focused on Snowflake implementations.
