Shift Engineer

We're looking for a dedicated Shift Engineer to oversee the daily functions and maintenance of all building facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of the property, including high-rise buildings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting facilities, managing customer requests, and maintaining detailed records to ensure a seamless workflow between shifts.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Facility Monitoring & Maintenance:
• Inspect and monitor the functions of all building facilities, including lifts, DG sets, air conditioning, fire services, water supply, and electricity supply.
• Ensure the upkeep of the entire property, including the maintenance of high-rise buildings.
• Customer & Issue Management:
• Report and follow up on any requests and complaints from customers to the management office.
• Follow up on pending issues carried forward from the previous shift to ensure timely resolution.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain handover/takeover log books for each shift.
• Check and maintain the log books and checklists of all facilities.
• Prepare and send Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports to the Operations Manager.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of building facilities, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Excellent observational skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills to manage customer requests and pending issues.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and log books.
• Ability to work effectively in a shift-based environment.

Qualifications

• A Diploma/B.Tech in Electrical engineering.
