Job Description
- Represent SFSPL to potential clients, including Siemens companies, through face-to-face meetings, presentations, telephone calls, and emails.
- Spend 50-60% of time out of the office in face-to-face meetings.
- Responsible for lead generation and appointment setting, apart from following up on leads from the Vendor Management team.
- Manage the entire sales process: lead generation, credentials presentation, asking questions, solution presentation, negotiation, close, handover to internal team (Risk & Operations), and follow-up.
- Ensure all sales opportunities are captured and explored with a strong drive and attention to detail.
- Have individual responsibility for new business while being part of a supportive team.
- Support from the Regional Sales Head, National Sales Manager, and Vendor Management.
- Represent SFSPL at internal and external meetings, maintaining a professional manner to gain new business leads.
- Manage and maintain a sales pipeline and ensure timely sales administration.
- Create and manage vendor proposals, contracts, and any required documentation.
- Respond to proposals and requests for information promptly.
- Effectively interact with other departments to ensure smooth communication.
- Stay updated on market conditions and collect competitor intelligence.
- Understand customer requirements and work to find appropriate solutions.
- Have a basic understanding of financials for early screening.
- Convince the risk team on transaction risks and mitigation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in asset financing, channel finance, or business loans from an NBFC or commercial bank.
- Experience in sourcing deals in healthcare and non-healthcare business segments.
- Maintain good relationships with local vendors, distributors, and channel partners.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- At least 7+ years of external customer-facing sales experience.
- Highly motivated and driven sales professional with enthusiasm for growth.
- Desire to learn leasing and promote to mid and large corporate customers.
- Experience of selling financial products in MSME, small, and mid-corporates is preferred.
