Job Description

We are hiring for Service Desk for our MNC Client at Ballendur, Bangalore Location

Exp - 1+ Yr

Budget - 2.8 LPA - 3.3 LPA

Regular Shift

Service Desk L1 – Roles & Responsibilities

1. First Point of Contact (FPOC)

  • Act as the single point of contact for all IT issues
  • Receive requests via phone, email, chat, or ticketing tools
  • Greet users professionally and understand their issues clearly

2. Incident Logging & Ticket Management

  • Log all incidents and service requests in the ITSM tool
  • Capture complete details (user info, issue description, screenshots)
  • Categorize, prioritize, and assign tickets correctly
  • Track tickets until closure

3. Initial Troubleshooting (First-Level Support)

  • Perform basic troubleshooting using SOPs and knowledge base
  • Resolve common issues such as:
  • Password resets & account unlocks
  • Email issues (e.g., Outlook not working)
  • VPN/login/access problems
  • Printer and network connectivity issues
  • Software installation (standard apps)
  • Basic hardware issues

4. Service Request Fulfillment

  • Handle standard user requests like:
  • Access provisioning (as per approval matrix)
  • Software installation
  • System configuration
  • Follow defined workflows and approval processes

5. Escalation Management

  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to L2/L3 teams
  • Provide complete and accurate information during escalation
  • Follow escalation matrix and timelines
