Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online.
Gather requirements and work closely with business stakeholders to understand KPIs, metrics, and analytical needs.
Translate business questions into visual data stories and actionable insights.
Develop data extracts, calculations, parameters, and advanced Tableau features (LOD expressions, filters, actions).
Connect Tableau to various data sources including SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or Excel.
Optimize dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability.
Implement and maintain best practices for data governance, security, and dashboard lifecycle management.
Train and mentor junior Tableau developers and business users on dashboard usage and data literacy.
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and proper ETL pipelines.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of experience developing in Tableau, with a strong portfolio of published dashboards.
Proficient in SQL and working knowledge of data warehousing principles and dimensional modeling.
Experience with large datasets and complex joins, calculations, and performance tuning in Tableau.
Familiarity with Tableau Server administration tasks (e.g., user permissions, project setup).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical users.

Tableau Desktop Certified Associate or Tableau Certified Data Analyst preferred.
Experience with scripting languages like Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus.
Knowledge of BI tools like Power BI, Looker, or Qlik is a plus.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Understanding of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data lakes.
