Senior Specialist - General Surgery

Surgical Procedures: Perform a wide range of surgical procedures under the guidance of attending surgeons, gaining experience in both routine and complex cases.

Clinical Rounds: Participate in daily rounds, discussing patient cases, treatment plans, and progress with the multidisciplinary team.

Medical Decision-Making: Make clinical decisions based on patient assessment, medical history, diagnostic tests, and surgical guidelines.

Teaching and Supervision: Supervise junior residents, medical students, and interns, providing guidance in patient care, procedures, and clinical reasoning.

Research: Engage in research projects, case studies, and academic pursuits related to General Surgery, contributing to medical knowledge and publications.

Emergency Coverage: Be available for on-call duties and respond to emergency surgical cases, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
