Senior Solution Architect

Job description

• Responsible for setting out the principles, guardrails, patterns and building blocks for use by solutions and system architects, and delivery teams.
• Ensure that the target architecture and roadmap are effectively aligned to the business s current and future needs.
• You support and drive the architecture process in Orange Business ensuring the right solutions are delivered to meet customer needs, TCO and compliance.
• Together with the team of Architects, develop and adapt domain architecture and the relevant solutions, products and services within your area to ensure robust and flexible architecture that meets business needs.
• Act as a trusted advisor within the team and beyond to provide specialist knowledge, technology expertise, alongside the solutions architects and SMEs.
• Participate in Customer Relationship Management, building trust in the role as customer advisor. Capture & translate business requirements to actions & deliveries.
• Ensure that the project decisions made are in accordance with the Architecture Framework and IT principles and meet security and compliance requirements.

Excellent communicator, verbally and written.

Solving complex and exciting problems and challenges.

Sound technical background, experience with Enterprise Architecture, Domain Architecture and Solution Architecture.

Experience with supporting business processes and related risk management.

Understanding of the latest software technologies, development practices and management tools.

Higher relevant education at a university level.

Experience with managing stakeholders on different hierarchical levels, business and technical requirements and change management.

Ability to design & adapt solutions to customer needs, using existing building blocks in possibly new ways.

Experience with SaaS, PaaS like Salesforce, ServiceNow, Oracle fusion, IPaaS and Azure platform will be considered a plus.
