Senior Software Engineer - Frontend

In your day to day role you will

• Design, develop and maintain software development products and platforms, integrate machine learning algorithms into E2E automation pipeline, build up AI applications and UI portal. The platform/infrastructure will be used to automate machine learning strategies/solutions for PayPal global risk management, making sound decisions that balance risk, user experience and financial performance.
• Develop tools which could be used to reduce human efforts and improve efficiency
• Look for improvement and innovation opportunities with business impact. Provide a source of high-quality ideas.
• Guarantee product and code quality by establishing best practices like code review, automatic testing, CI/CD.
• Collaborate efficiently with software engineers, data scientists and engineering teams across the globe to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain teams products.

• What do you need to bring -
• Bachelor s degree in a computer science or engineering field with 4 + year professional work experience in a relevant field. Or Master s degree with 2 + year profession experience or equivalent knowledge.
• Backend development experience with hands-on expertise in Python or e xtensive experience in developing web applications using React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, React Router, etc.)
• Extensive experience in architecting and developing large-scale backend systems using Python, with strong expertise in algorithm design and database development.
• Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills - ability to triage and resolve critical tech issues without supervision.
• Expertise required in object-oriented design methodology and application development
• Ability to work independently and proficiently on well-defined projects; Focuses primarily on how to achieve overall business objectives of a project with speed and quality
